MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
An inventory-tracking database that gives the hospital the ability to track supplies by location and costs as they enter and leave the hospital. Included is the ability to track, monitor, and develop reorder reports for every item in the inventory system as well as the ability to add and remove items from the database with barcode technology.
- Track the current inventory levels by location (cost center), vendor, grouping (type of product)product item name/number and cost
- Monitor the current inventory levels as compared to par levels and generate reorder information by product based on these reorder levels
- Monitor materials utilized on a per patient basis as well as tracking utilization by vendor –including returned items to each vendor
- Utilize barcode technology to add items into the database and remove items out of the database
- Group products in “custom case packs”, as defined by client for faster materials management checkout.
