Administrative functions within the system can be maintained to ensure that staff can be clearly classified with different levels of access to protected health information.
Thawte SSL Certificates - Thawte is an industry leader in information security. They provide the certificates that ensure that the https (Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer) session is securely transferred over the open network. We use the latest encryption keys capable of 256-bit encryption.
IP White list - The PreCIS suite host servers are configured to only accept connections that originate from clients ip addresses who have been added to our ip address white list. While not required by HIPAA the white list is an effective way to ensure that only facilities that are authorized to use our system will gain entry.

The PreCIS Suite is housed in a collocation facility with: redundant power supplies, multiple local, generator, and battery, tier-One backbone connections, multi stage entry security, video surveillance, and security personnel
