To comply with HIPAA regulations, all Tesaris PreCIS systems use 256 bit SSL encryption. All clients maintain their own unique Username and password authentication to ensure the privacy and security of your data. See Security>
As part of your subscription fee, your data will be stored on duplicate servers in at least two separate locations, which also receive nightly data backup. So all of your data is backed up to a backup server on the hour and backed up to a tape drive at a remote location nightly. We also guarantee 99.9% uptime on all of our web applications.
Not that you would ever want to leave Tesaris, but if for some reason you do need to leave, Tesaris allows access to all of your data at any time and is importable into other systems. Data will be extractable through a request to your account representative and will be delivered within 10 business days of initial request in a variety of exportable formats.
In many areas, Internet connections are now highly reliable. But, if your connection is not reliable or for additional redundancy, Tesaris recommends that you subscribe to multiple services with at least one computer having the latest in EV-DO technology, such as a wireless card with cellular connectivity.
